I think it is a MiniDV camcorder, is not it?
My Panasonic PV-GS65 is not compatible with USB video streaming, your USB drive used only for photos. Frankly, it probably works well, is that right? I think so, if so, then the drivers do not blame on himself, it is not compatible with Windows Vista. You can try it in XP, you can try it on a Mac, but whatever you do, do not receive the video via USB.
You want your camcorder DV port (also known as FireWire, iLink or IEEE-1394). I find the manual for this camcorder, you will find in this port alone. Now you must make sure that your team has not even a FireWire port on your computer? To find out, do a Google image search for "Firewire port, and you will see, EXAMple, there are two different ways. One is a 4-pin, which is rectangular, with a small notch on one side length (more than luck to find one of these in the camcorder). The other is 6-pin, which looks more like a pentagon. If you have one of these ports on your computer, you simply take the same case, firewire cable, connect it, then follow the instructions in your editing software. Make sure a cable to get the two ports (4-for-4, 4-A-6, or 6-A supports-6).
If not, then you should get a firewire card, which are so expensive nowadays. Consider the range $ 20-30 (U.S. $). Some assembly required, but not so bad.
Any other questions, please ask away!
I do not know
Good luck! Better yet, work with a Mac, probably work the second you plug it in.
Microsoft is trying to solve problems
Vista should show, but if not, then there is a problem, you can go to Add / Remove Hardware and scan or download the driver from the network and
Good luck
Vista comes with a lot of the missing driver seeks happiness to them! You need to call Microsoft and one of them addressed to the appropriate places for the drivers you need!
