What do you hunt? For errors and deer size in California with ammunition is cheap, 223 Reverse flat trajectory to 100 yards, let alone, and the low weight to carry in the field. Plink ease and precision. A Ruger Mini-14 is a good start. Will never win a game shooting, but it is accurate enough for the game, mistakes and Plinking doses. You can use these inexpensive rifle. There is a good 223 for others who are not overly tactical assault rifles. 243 Remington 700 would be a good step up.
Some (or all?) Areas of California banned the use of lead ammunition for hunting. This is disproved a theory that completely capture condors metal bullet damage and other wildlife on.
The standard 22 Long Rifle is a good choice for small game and the first choice for Plinking and target shooting. Unfortunately, there is currently no lead / load the gun for a long trial in California, but there are some 22 rim fire magnum Winchester. Magnum guns do not make the cameras standard ammunition, short, long and long rifle and ammunition, Winchester Magnum Ring of Fire is quite expensive.
Marlin and Ruger make very good weapons chambered for the mass market action screw cartridge of standard fire rim and magnums
Savage model done in 110, 243 caliber would be for most of the game. If you want the deer jumps probably go with LR, as large as 22 to hunt rabbits and marmots and squirrels. Ammunition is cheap, 22 RS region. Rem 223 would be his agenda, because it is cheaper to make as big as coyotes milsurp to draw and ammunition in large quantities and have a relatively low there.
You buy something that retains its resale value. I recommend a Browning, deep canyons, retain their value, and come in a variety of sizes. Only economic for one revolution is 22, a good choice, but a little light, even for medium game. A .22 mag. is a little more power and shock effect is still affordable. Check out their website ...
I say go with a caliber of 308th You can hunt deer and get some ammunition in large quantities plinkin at a reasonable price range for.
Can not hunt deer in California with a 223, but it is a great caliber Ruger Mini-14 Model 580 is a fun and reliable weapon.
, 22 Long Rifle ... less than $ 3 per 50 rounds ... 22 mag ... nearly 9 per box.
"Ball" is casual Plinking ... Cans, makeshift goals for fun ...
Nothing says "Plinking" as a rifle 22 ... Thousands of people are used as ... There are dozens back on the market ... Ruger 10/22 and Marlin 60 are probably the 2 firearms sales of all time ...
is the nationwide ban on lead CA .. or just in the areas of the Condor?
